And this is what I have at the end of Day 2. Line art probably still has some areas that need cleaning up but at the moment I'm happy with it as it is. Base tones down, shading now. As you can see, I'm trying out a different shading style for the hair. We'll see how that goes...I may just end up redoing the hair. :/ I'm going to try to emulate the shading style of this pixel artist. I'm not entirely sure that my attempt will be very successful but we shall see...But yeah, liking it so far but it's still a very long way from completion.
Edit as of 15.04.10: OH SHIT! it's been 3 months and I finished this pic a while ago.
